Welcome Form

The Welcome Form shows:

  • System date (today's date)

  • Country number and name

  • Drop-down box for selection of interface language (English or Spanish)

  • SMP2011 version number (upper right corner)

  • Path tab shows the locations to:

    • smpdata.mdb data file

    • SCO.mdb file

    • Current registered photos

    • Head and Shoulder photos

    • Full body photos

    • System date format (EN: m/d/y  |  ES: d/m/y)

  • Data File tab facilitates two backup options.  Note: SMP2011 automatically makes a back-up copy of the smpdata.mdb file one each week, copying the file to the Archive folder with the backup date included in the file name.

    • Make Backup Copy of smpdata.mdb.  It is recommended that the smpdata.mdb data file be backed up to a location that is not on the same physical hard drive.

    • Upload smpdata.mdb file to server.  It is recommended that the smpdata.mdb data file be uploaded to the SMP server at least monthly.  Note:  the upload process can take a couple or several minutes based upon the size of the data file and the upload speed.
